1. Who this policy covers

This Privacy Policy applies to the FootMesh website, mobile web experience, Android and iOS apps, and related account features operated by caleb wang. It explains how personal information is handled when you browse matches, read analysis or use an account.

2. Information we collect

We collect only information needed to provide, secure and improve the current product.

• Account information: email address, display name and account identifier. A phone number is not required.
• Sign-in information: verification status and, when enabled, the provider identifier returned by Google or Apple. Raw provider credentials are not stored as profile data.
• Product activity: language, region, time zone, page path, match identifier, saved matches, follows, notification choices and account preferences.
• Technical information: limited device or installation identifiers, notification tokens when notifications are enabled, browser, network, security and diagnostic data needed to operate and protect the service.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to:

• create and protect accounts, send verification codes and maintain signed-in sessions;
• show the correct language, saved content and account settings;
• operate football-data, MATCH INTELLIGENCE and FootMesh product features;
• prevent abuse, investigate failures and maintain service security;
• measure and improve the product when a disclosed analytics capability is enabled.

4. Service providers and disclosure

We do not sell personal information. We may share the minimum necessary information with infrastructure, email-delivery and identity providers that process data for the service. Google and Apple receive information only when you choose their sign-in option and that option is enabled.

We may disclose information when required by law, to protect users and the service, or as part of a corporate transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.

5. Storage, cookies and retention

FootMesh uses essential browser storage and similar technologies for language selection, security and account sessions. Non-essential analytics or advertising technologies are not activated merely by this policy.

We retain account and security records only for as long as needed for the purposes described here, legal obligations, dispute resolution and fraud prevention. Retention periods may differ by record type.

6. International processing

FootMesh is intended for an international audience. Information may be processed in countries other than your own where our infrastructure or service providers operate. We use contractual, technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the data and applicable law.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or obtain a copy of personal information, and to withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis. You may also sign out, change product preferences and stop using the service.

Use the account area or an official FootMesh contact channel to submit a privacy request. We may need to verify that the request belongs to the account concerned.

8. FootMesh account and data deletion

You can request deletion of your FootMesh account from the Android or iOS app, or from the FootMesh mobile website. Sign in to the account you want to delete, open My account (My), select Delete account, read the confirmation, and choose Delete now. A successful request executes account deletion immediately and signs out active sessions. This action cannot be undone.

If you cannot access the account or the in-app deletion control, email glgx2099@gmail.com from the address associated with your FootMesh account and ask for account and associated-data deletion. We may verify account ownership before acting on the request. Do not send your password or verification code.

When deletion completes, FootMesh removes sign-in credentials and linked identities, active sessions, followed and saved matches, notification devices, preferences and reminders associated with the account. The remaining account row is marked deleted and anonymized. A limited deletion-request/audit record may be retained for security, legal compliance and proof that the request was handled. Operational logs and backups may remain until their normal retention or rotation period; this page does not promise immediate erasure from every backup.

You may also ask the same contact address about deletion of specific associated data without deleting your account. We will review the request against the data needed to operate the account and applicable retention obligations.

9. Security and children

We use access controls, encryption in transit, credential isolation and audit measures designed to protect information. No system is completely secure.

The service is not directed to children under 16, or a lower age only where permitted by the law of their country. A parent or guardian should contact us if they believe a child supplied personal information without valid permission.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the product, providers or legal requirements change. Material changes will be identified by a new effective date and, where appropriate, an in-product notice.
